Yellow Pages being dumped in gardens

Our area has recently had the Yellow Pages delivered for this year. They seemed to have been dumped indiscriminately at the end of people's gardens and pathways. Many copies are now in tatters flapping around the streets!
The thing that bugs me is that I have paid £1500 to advertise in the damn thing and half of my potential customers will not get to see their copy in one piece.
Is it so hard for the delivery people to walk as far as people's doorsteps?

Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

Complain to the publishers - with details of where they've been dumped - and they'll sort out the distributors and maybe do it properly.
Or at least you might get some sort of rebate.0 -
I once saw a dozen brand-new copies ( still in the polythene wrappers ) dumped in a farm gateway. I presume the person distributing them just got fed up with the job and took the easy way out. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Definitely complain - I would if I saw it as I'm in there too!0

Something even better than Yellow Pages being dumped:
My Dad was on his way to work early in the morning a few weeks ago. He only saw a postman dumping all of the mail from his bag over a wall onto some wasteland!!!!
He picked up all the letters and put them in his car and took 'em round to the local Police station. The Police went straight around to the local sorting office to find out which postie it was. Presume he was sacked.
So when you don't get yer mail, now you know where it is!!0
