Except I've just been reading another thread which mentioned router firewall. I don't know if mine is firewalled at the moment. A few weeks ago I had to revert to factory settings.
Should I be concerned if I can't figure it out. Would the windows one suffice?0 -
Put it this way. If you do enable the router's firewall (hardware) there will (or should) be no conflicts with the firewall software (that of Windows). Won't do any harm to enable the router's firewall - can often be the first line of defense.Thanks. I'll leave it be then.

What Router have you got?
Ideally, you need the Router's firewall enabled. The one in my Router is enabled by default, so you may well find yours is too. If you can post up the make and model someone can tell you what you need to do to check.0 -
