Washing Machine is broken

Options
My washing machine packed in yesterday, its not filling up much and seems to just drain and spin etc but then jump to the end of the cycle in about 10 minutes. Its about 4 years old and I think its come to the end of its life. I can't afford to take the risk of calling an engineer so i think its time to buy a new one.

Anyway I've found a replacement machine, a zanussi on the John Lewis web site for £229 delivered and with a 2 year guarantee! Seems a bargain I thought??

They will take away my old washer for another £9. The only problem is I need to disconnect it from the water supply and I haven't a clue, is this an easy thing to do and how difficult would it be for me to reconnect the new washer?

Thanks for any help

Sarah
