Help - Firefox and IE are showing my page different

Ok so im designing my site at http://www.fishingeye.co.uk and if you look at if in firefox it is showing how the site should look.

However IE decides that it wants to place my main content box at the bottom and not at the top where it is meant to be. I have tried everything i can think of but i cannot get IE to sit the text at the top.

You will see what i mean when you click the link. The main content window wont be green when the sites done, that is just for my reference.

what software did you use?
was it notepad or something like frontpage to construct it?

dreamweaver, i know i should have used notepad though but im not quite there yet with just hand coding it

But that was the whole idea of web browsers in the first place: you'd provide the information on the page, and the web browser would decide how to display it, whether it was Mozilla, Internet Explorer, a cellphone or a text-only terminal.

movieman, look how horrible IE makes my page look lol theres no way i want people to see it like that

if you have it open it up with frontpage
then drag the line above the words "I should be at the top with a small gap of white between me and the shadow above"
as high as it will go

its crap i know but i'm in work and we dont have much call for web design here hope this will help
