Morrisons Bollinger offer no good as no stock

The offer was around before it was put in the weekly e-mail. It's the same with most items that have appeared in the e-mail too. They go really fast. If you had a choice of the Moet or Bollinger, most would have gone for the latter. I got a couple of Moet and the guy had said he's been in contact with the supplier and they simply can't send anymore out. Lighten up.

silliest post of the day, answers on a postcard please:rolleyes:, erm yes of course they put these offers on to get people to come into the stores, on the off chance that people will also purchase other things, at the start of this offer each store had a wide variety of stock, but knowing how good an offer this is, the stock was never going to be around for long, you dont really expect the suppliers to give morrisons thousands of pallets of this stuff to sell at half price do you

they have told me at head office there is no more stock coming in and the 3 shops i have been to have been out all week. when you ask in the shop they no nothing and dont care.

when we got ours there was a sign up saying the offer ended Sunday 30/11/09.So it must be over now

to be fair, when morrisons put on offers like this the staff dont know what stock there will be, at store level we dont order the lines for these offers, that is all done by head office, i am guessing they go by how much stock they have, size of store, how much money store takes etc, when deciding how much stock to allocate to each store, we can however at store loevel put special stock requests in for the products, but yet again that is up to head office to decide if they have enough stock to give us what we request, and also we dont know when the stock is going to arrve until the day it is in the building, it is the 1 thing that morrisons is so far behind the times on, if when you are in morrisons you notice staff down each aisle with pads in there hands, that is because we have to order everything by pen and paper:eek:, tescos stopped doing that in the 60`s:D

the offer is on till this sunday, but there is very little stock left, and what is left is just mainly sparkling wine

We sold loads of this in our store last week, If I was after a special offer i would phone first, saves traipsing about.

Is the offer still on or has it expired? I went to two stores and they'd sold out. Just wondering if it was worth seeing if they're going to be on offer if they more stock over the week as I may as well pop into two on my way to uni.
