It stopped loading certain games and then other times it worked after it had been switched off for a bit. (It's a wonder my son doesn't have RSI if you know what I mean;) ) . Anyway it now won't load any game at all.
I'm having a look in my local newspaper to see if anyone's advertising repairs, can't think of any where else.0 -
is it the ps1 or the ps2, it may be cheaper to just buy a new one from the high streetNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

2nd hand psone's were being advertised for £21 in our local Gamestation, that's probably the cheaper option if its an older model.0

Hi i saw a guy on the main street in Wakefield Yorkshire the other day advertizing the fact he repaired playstations , when i pop back in again i will get you the number.0 -
playstation actually replace their sets free of charge for you if it is a genuine fault - when you bought it you shouldve got a phone number - if you ring them they will arrange to pick it up/drop off a new one at your house - when i had to do this they came the next day.....sister has changed her ps1 twice and ps2 once so i know they do it for both.......look for the number and try0
