Playstation repair man/company?

Does anyone know if Playstations can be repaired and if so can they point me in the direction please to save my sanity. Thanks. I live in the North West of England near the Pie eaters in Wigan.:p

It stopped loading certain games and then other times it worked after it had been switched off for a bit. (It's a wonder my son doesn't have RSI if you know what I mean;) ) . Anyway it now won't load any game at all.
I'm having a look in my local newspaper to see if anyone's advertising repairs, can't think of any where else.

is it the ps1 or the ps2, it may be cheaper to just buy a new one from the high street

2nd hand psone's were being advertised for £21 in our local Gamestation,that's probably the cheaper option if its an older model.

Hi i saw a guy on the main street in Wakefield Yorkshire the other day advertizing the fact he repaired playstations , when i pop back in again i will get you the number.

playstation actually replace their sets free of charge for you if it is a genuine fault - when you bought it you shouldve got a phone number - if you ring them they will arrange to pick it up/drop off a new one at your house - when i had to do this they came the next day.....sister has changed her ps1 twice and ps2 once so i know they do it for both.......look for the number and try
