This will be a standard application form which is also used for jobs which DO require prof quals - the NHS are particularly bad at this and often use more or less the same form for brain surgeons and receptionists (well, not quite, but you know what I mean!)
Don't feel bad about leaving it blank!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
The ad said if I hadn't heard by today to assume the job application wouldn't be being taken any further and I've not heard. I am and I'm not bothered, the job would have been lovely in another 15 months time when DD is at full-time school and I could have worked during school hours for a not bad wage considering how p/t it was.
For the next year though it would have been a pain in the ****. DD wanted mummy to drop off and pick up not another lady (which ruled out a childminder). That left me with having to keep DD in PM sessions in her private nursery (so it was me dropping off and picking up) which meant I'd finish after 3.30 and would have to pay for DS to go to the asc, meaning a lot of wages going in childcare.
I'm still glad I applied though. At least this way I know what happened and don't have to spend the next year wondering "what if ".
The only thing is DD nursery grant runs out at end of July and I did intend giving notice to reduce her days till she finished mid-aug, but with not knowing if I'd get an interview I've been unable to give the nursery enough notice. so I've decided to keep her in till we go away and though we won't get the nursery grant the amount it will cost is still within the limits of the maximum of salary sacrifice using busybee vouchers, and DS gets some 1 to 1 attention in the summer hols.0
