Argos delivery service!

Bought some Christmas present online via Argos 2 weeks ago.
Delivery date was scheduled for a week ago yesterday and still nothing has arrived!

Argos wont take any responsibility. All they say is its in the hands of the courier so they wont give me a refund or a date when they think the goods will be delivered.

They are also unwilling to give me the courier details so I can contact them directly!

The goods were bought via a debit card so I'm not sure if I can claim my money back via the bank?

Its about £300 worth of goods, and i have lost count of the number of phone calls to Argos.

I'll steer well clear in the future!

  • Distance Selling Regs, exercise your right to cancel in full (speak to consumer direct for further advice) - they sound like they are being very unreasonable to me, and remember, your contract is with Argos, not the courier company.
