First attempt at tiara what do you think?

  • Personally I really like it, I find the "blingy" ones in shops a little too much and I think it's pretty and delicate, and just enough to add some sparkle. I hadn't thought of making one, but if I could summon the patience, I would consider something like this. Well done you, and nice one for doing it for your friend.
Just out of curiousity, what colour hair have you both got? Just wondering about stealing your ideas and how it would look!

thank you all for your comments, i'm really happy with it and my MOH loves it which is the main thing. I wanted something delicate for her one and my one will have more on it.

Hayleythedaisy - my hair is blonde and MOH is brown/blonde and feel free to idea steal :T

Well done, I can't even sew a button on straight, so I am impressed! I am rubbish and bought mine from a wedding fair, reduced but still £55! I am happy to pay for someone elses skill. My view is that if you don't want me making tiara's and I don't want a crafty person giving me CPR, we stick to what we know! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
  • Well done buzby. I think I will busy some though, maybe on Ebay. I have enjoyed reading this thread as am also confused about what I should pay for my bridesmaids. We are going to look for dresses on Saturday. Do all the bridesmaids need tiaras ? Not sure about shoes, jewellery. Said I will get some wraps or fur shrugs in case its cold. I am having 3 bridesmaids. Should I offer to pay for hair and make up too ? Its not that i dont want to pay its just we are trying to keep the costs down.
We got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T
  • It looks nice in the pic, good job :)

If anyone else is looking for cheap tiaras, just to let you know they have them for £3 in Primark, they look as good as any of the more expensive ones! :D
Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice. :(

Nice effort poster, It will look lovely when the hair and make up are done :)

All my friends lil bridemaids wore primark ones, and looked fabulous teamed up with Ebay Monsoon dresses and new satin ballet shoes. Grand total £38 per maid x 3 not bad .
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A
