Is This laptop any good

Hi guys/dolls

DDs would like a laptop for xmas, it would only be used for surfing the net, homework, odd game or two.I have seen this one on comet website have any one got any opinions on it please. http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/582018/COMPAQ-CQ61-317SA?cm_sp=FeatureEnd-_-Laptops-_-position

Or do you know of any better deals around this price that can be bought in the high street.

The second one on this list is better more RAM and more Hardisk space but it is marginal.

Thanks, which one were you refering to please.What about the spec ie cpu etc, is it suitable or will it be very slow.

It will do every thing you ask fine, depending on the games she may want to play, but I expect you don't mean proper games (driving shooting etc) but online stuff.

Ok no problem thanks, probably the most popular game that she would play is 'Sims' games.
