I tryed to but a Nintendo DSI from a site called shopto.net. Joines up and went through the usual reg proccesses and bought the item, unfortunately after i popped in my Visa Electron card details the page said the transaction was declined for security reasons.
I though it was an issue my end so i tried again 5 times thinking i had mistyped something.
Call the bang this morning and lo and behold there are 6 transactions of £129.95 pending on my account from this company!!!!
Arghhh what do i do now!

These should be no more than pending authorisations. The banking system setting that money aside on your account. They should drop off in a few days providing the merchant do not debit your account for all the extra amounts.
Best thing to do is contact shopto and question how many transactions they have put thru ie how many orders you have. This should clear itself up and providing they tell you one. your bank account will sort itself out.0 -
I had exactly the same with 3 - I tried a few times to be told "there's an error, try again later", I ended up getting a phone call from my card's fraud dept saying that multiple transactions had been "made" - turned out that they were pending and only one was actualled transacted. As the previous poster suggested, contact the retailer to establish whether an order has been processed.0

You tried SIX times!! Are you insane? Did it not occur to you to stop and wait and see? My card was declined in Homebase yesterday and I only tried the once as I KNEW there was a problem with their machine.0
