A PVR or hard disk recorder (or a HD/DVD combo) would be a better option, the hard disks can record that amount of data, it won't fit on a DVD

    Freeview or Sky?
    Thanks. Can you recommend any?

Currys were selling a Liteon DVD recorder with 160GB HDD for £199. That can give you 100hours at excellent quality. It also has video plus and DL DVD recorder but no freeview tuner.
