If we lived within tameside coucil it'd cost us £571.70 :eek: still cheaper than our quote but still too much considering were we live. But it's a good point for an arguement when I finally get on the phone to them :j
waynehayes, we'll ask about using another approved contractor if they'll let us. Got to be worth a try :T
When my OH went into the housing trust to talk about it they said the highways agency were trying to get some money in and that's why they've asked for the kerb to lowered befor the new fences/gates are put up. Personally I think they are full of you know what lol and I can see myself laying out on the front and blocking the way of the new fence being built :rotfl:Lets just hope it's not a cold day!!
