Windows Live Safety Scanner

Hey hey
I've just done a full scan with Windows Live Safety scanner and noticed that during the scan it came up saying 4 viruses had been found - but when it came to the end it said nothing found. I ran it again and the same thing happened - can you figure out why this is?
I've popped a screenshot below with what it said during the scan. Afterwards it went green with a tick saying everything was ok - no viruses or spyware

Has anyone else had this happen?? My laptop is running just fine and I always keep the virus def updated

I'm running it now - at 56% and says 3 viruses,2 detected! I reckon it's false positives after all it is a beta.
I believe my proper anti virus NOD32 over this thing!0 -
...and at the end of the scan :
The "severe issue" is my Asus motherboard AI booster tool! But Windows safety center thinks it's dodgy!
Correction : it's my AI Motherboard screensaver..so maybe the scanner is particularly sensitive with screensavers - that could be a good thing I suppose!

That's a relief
I was worried there was something lurking in m'laptop HD

Btw, totally unrelated, but you can do a screenshot of solely the active window by holding down CTRL and ALT while pressing the Print Screen button - it only pictures the active window as in my shot.
It prevents needless cutting and cropping in Paint

Another top notch program released by Microsoft. If only they had some sort of competition.0

oooh cheers for that ..but that means pressing 3 keys at once  !
2 keys at a time typing is fast enough for me
! I'm putting my Mavis Beacon "touchtyping" cd on ebay! 0 -
It's alt and printscreen, only two buttons.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Well I suppose pressing the CTRL key as well helps burn off more calories...albertross wrote:It's alt and printscreen, only two buttons.
