BT Privacy at home - caller display not working

My son had BT installed on Friday. When he was setting it up with BT last Monday he also opted for Privacy at Home which will give him free Caller Display.
At the moment Caller Display is not working - calls are just showing as Incoming Call. Does it take so long after installation to start working or has someone just forgot to flick a switch somewhere?

Hi Jem16,
I'm sorry that the Caller Display has not worked since your Son ordered it. You can email me at btcare@bt.com including your account details and I'll get the service working for you.
I'll look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks.
My son phoned BT today and the caller display had not been added. It now has been although not showing up as yet.
If it still isn't working by tomorrow I'll get him to email you.0 -
I had the same issue a few months back when I connected a caller display device for the first time. It turned out I'd order BT Privacy and that Caller display is an option that needs 'turning on' within it.
You should be able to turn it on if you log in to your account at BT.com. See my previous posting on this.

He did have a look last night and it did show BT Privacy at Home as one of his calling features.
Did you mean to go further into it and change the calling plan to see if it was ticked?0 -
That's how it showed for me and how it shows at the moment (just tried it). To turn on Caller Display as part of BT Privacy, click "Change features", on the next page, confirm you are the account holder. You will then be presented with a list of "features" you can order. He did have a look last night and it did show BT Privacy at Home as one of his calling features.

Under "BT Privacy at Home" there will be a tick box for Caller Display which needs ticking.
Ensure that it is the "Caller Display" under BT Privacy at Home that is ticked and not the one for "Calling Features pack", which is the chargeable one.0 -

We didn't go that far when we looked last night.
He's coming round shortly so I'll get him to check it shows there now that BT have said they have turned it on.0 -
Hey,
Checked this morning and caller display is now working at the house.
I went online last night at mum's as suggested above, went to change the features but it wouldn't let me as an order was already in progress (assuming this was because the person I'd spoken to on the phone was adding it).
I just checked online there today in the change features and caller display is ticked. I'm assuming that must have not been ticked before the person I spoke to added it, but no way of telling now :-)
Good news is that it works no problem now. Now I can choose to ignore my mum when she calls as I'll know it's her :P
Thanks,
