Re-claiming Court Fees

1 have read with dismay the court ruling on your website. It a great blow to all consumers, and a kick in the teeth for the little guy. Especially as the HUGE Christmas bonuses are already being prepared for the greedy, fat (and now proven incompetent), banking cats. (and almost all of these funded by us taxpayers anyway!!!!).

Anyway I did not write this just to steam off, so sorry about the above, but GRRRRR!

I have a genuine question however which is; I have a County Court claim pending against the Abbey Banking Team, which was filed on 1 August 2007 then put on hold pending the Court ruling. This now I suppose will not be heard, and my question is do I get my £120 back that I filed with the Court as an issue fee? Also, if I am entitled to this money back, will I have to claim it, and if so how should I go about it?

No its not. Its only a great blow to those hoping to get their charges back.

Bonuses have nothing to do with the bank charges. Trying to link them is petty. Also you are incorrect about most being funded by taxpayers.

Banks are an easy target right now and in some areas deservedly so. However, there is no point venting about things which are incorrect.

If they case is thrown out then you dont get your money back. Taking someone to court is not risk free or cost free. If you lose (which if your case is thrown out, will be the case) then you lose your money. However, dont assume your case will be thrown out just yet.
