internet explorer very slow to start

in Techie Stuff
when i click on internet explorer it seems to take a long time to start up,was fine up until a few days ago,any suggestions on how this could be happening

Version IE8? Do you have any IE8 add-ons installed? They can often be a culprit.
I'd simply switch to Firefox.0 -
Use CCleaner to clean up any unnecessary junk. Then do a scan with SuperAntiSpyware free or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free, to see if you have any nasties. Why not try Firefox, IE was always causing crashes, but firefox is very good.0

i believe it is IE8 don't know if i have any add ons installed,another thing i upgraded to kaspersky internet security 10,would that make a differernce?0

That is possible; I would still switch to Firefox unless you have a legitimate reason to stick with IE8; I can't see any;)0 -

Good choice. Don't forget to try some of the addons, such as BetterPrivacy, Noscript, and WOT. It makes using the internet a lot safer.0
