Daily Cash Limit/Store Cash Back

Morning all

I have a quick question about my Natwest Step account. I have a daily cash withdrawal limit of £250 and need to take out £300 today - if I get cash back from a shop is this deemed to be part of the £250?

Thanks for your help.

No. Cash back is part of a debit card transaction which shouldn't, in theory, have a limit.

The retailer usually ask how much cashback you want.
  • I disagree, it won't work if you have already reached your daily limit. Try it and see.

I've done it before when I had my NatWest Step account - I'd took my 250 out for the day and then got £35 cash back in Somerfield.

You can go into a Branch in person to take out more at once :)

  • Thanks for your replies. I spoke with customer services who advised that it did form part of your daily limit.

    Thanks for your help.
