Windows 7 help with massive library folder

Hi, I've recently upgraded to windows 7, and have noticed that almost all of the data which I've saved onto dvd's has also copied itself over the to video folder. I have alsorts, photos/videos/mobile phone games, the folder is now over 30gb in size.

I don't want to use this much space but I'm afraid to delete from the video folder in case it deletes from the original source file as well and i end up losing the photos' from my pc.

I'm wondering if this migration has occured since linking my xbox and pc to the same network in order to use media extender through xbox.

Could anyone shed some light on this please, as I want the video file for video's only and don't know how to stop it transfering other files into it.

Thanks

I've sorted it. Somehow the video folder was set to also gather info from the pictures folder.

    Just unticked this option.
