Bonus phone call this morning!

we had an LV loan and successfully claimed back the PPI using a company to do it for us - they took forever and kept some of the money but we were happy - it was better than nothing! In the claim letter it said that LV had already refunded us the interest charged on the PPI. Well we didn't remember that but we were so glad to be getting over £1k back we thought we might have forgotten it. The claim was settled a couple of months ago.

This morning we got a phone call saying we hadn't cashed a cheque for £162 that they'd sent us in February. That's because we hadn't received it.

So all we've got to do is send LV a letter saying we never received the 1st cheque and they'lll cancel it and send us a 2nd.

Well chuffed!!! :j
I'm playing all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order!

    Wow well done.
So I take it the company you used charged by reducing your refund?
On this other that is owed to you, are they going to reduce anything further from this other cheque that you did not receive?

Hope you don't mind me asking, as with some companies we have to be very careful with, cheers.;)
