cant add photos on here so had to put links!!
i have got enough for 12 tables and its cost me just under £30 for the lot!!:j
You will not believe that, but tonight I went to Ikea, bought those tea lights and the little holders, have square mirror tiles to put them on (from Ikea, bought ages ago) and was planning to arrange four candles per tile like that, but with big pillar candle in middle (4 for £1.59 in Ikea). We have had the same thought at the same time, it seems.
Only addition I'm making is crystals on mirrors and blue ribbon round tealight holders for colour.
Obviously I approve of your design!
Update - have just noticed this is originally from December! I can honestly say I've never seen this thread...
Nice finished products though

Thanks
I love ikea. I was going to do the large candle thing in the middle originally too but then thought of another t light. I was also going to put ribbon on t-lights but have decided to leave it as it is as it may then clash with the colours i already have.
There are some crystals on the mirrors and a there will be a few more crystals on the tables on the day it was just hard to judge for a smaller space:D oh and the cat was after them all!!
The mirrors i bought i have seen someone sell 8 for £40 recently so after the wedding i may be able to sell them on for at least a bit of money back
would love to win an ipad!

Hunnycat can you turn the tealight holder in the middle upside down and fit a dinner candlestick in it? I know it's a strange question but i've been looking on the ikea website and have seen dinner candlesticks holders for 39p and was wondering if the ones you have are them.
You're center pieces are amazing and have convinced me to get table runners. Well done!:kisses2: Getting Married 5th November 2011 :kisses2:0 -

I've brought the smaller mirror plates from home bargins (69p) and the plan is to have a single candlestick in the middle with coloured crystals scattered around the bottom.
Failing the venue letting us have candles it will be balloons with a pretty balloon weight on the plate with crystals scattered around the bottom lol
maybe you could mix and match having tealight and dinner candles:kisses2: Getting Married 5th November 2011 :kisses2:0 -
