Scanner with sheet feeder

Can anyone reccommend a scanner with a sheet feeder for use with old photos.
I know Kodak do one for £800 but I'm looking for a much cheaper alternative, maybe an all-in-one, fax, printer and scanner.

canon did one for about £400, however it only scanned black and white and only handled a4&a5 pages.

It is very difficult to find one to handle odd sizes of often thick and firm paper

The HP Scanjet 5530 has a feeder which handles batches of standard size photos well. I got one unused on Ebay earlier this year for about £70-£80. It's been well worth it for the extra speed. You still need to do a bit of cropping as the image is slightly larger than the scanned photo, but it's not really as much of an issue as it might seem if you're using something like Picasa for processing.

I don't think the feed for this scanner would work for photos of varying sizes or varying thicknesses.

Does it have to be a scanner?

The Epson Stylus range of printers have a scanner with a document feeder built in. I want to get one but the OH won't let me till after X-Mas so I don't know how good they are. HP also have similar MFD's.
