Given the state of journalism in Britian these days, it's not a great shock that reporters will print anything they like.
Congratulations on being 'in the club' - I mean of course being deemed newsworthy by the papers for no immediately apparent or relevant story. next step is 'groupies' then you'll be invited onto Strictly come dancing or I'm a Celebrity..0 -
Martin you haven't shaved and you look shattered in the photo, surely you should get them to change it, or is it a sign to what is to come with sleepness nights looking after a newborn0

I never believe anything in the press but if it's true congratulations to you both, surely the next step is a lucrative exclusive in Hello or O.K ?Theres only two rules to remember1) Im always right2) See rule 10

Now that you are 'in the club', do what all the celebrities do and take them to court for a huge settlement.:D
If you don't fancy this, then you could ask for a retraction and apology - I guess it depends how annoyed you feel.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
I do think it's inappropriate and irresponsible for the media to do this sort of thing. As an aside:
"Matthew Wright, former tabloid journalist turned presenter of Five's The Wright Stuff, where Lewis was a panellist in early 2006, says: "I've never met anybody who works so obsessively on his subject. He makes for great telly but I don't think I'd want to be stuck in a lift talking banks with him." And there's something of the penny-pinching miser about a man so relentlessly in search of the bargain, the "save-£££" option, the Why-Pay-More? thrift store." Sounds like sour grapes to me. I used to quite like Matthew Wright a few years back, but I think that as he's faded into obscurity (I can't remember the last time I heard his name/saw him on TV etc) he's just being jealous.0 -
There's a quote on there that says you are 'possibly lightly gay'!0

I remember when that was first written (is about 2 years old) I took it to read 'slightly camp' - which doesn't really bother me - Im enthusiastic - and that can come across as camp. Not a biggyMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Is there no honour among journalists? I would have thought he would try and get it right with being in the same profession!Using my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0

Off topic I just read your column in the NOTW and left a comment but not sure if it will be posted. So here is what I said if it helps:
With your campaign on bank charges, have you thought about using the people who do not have enough money to stay within the terms of their contracts with the banks as a metaphor for the nation? This might help win over the court of public opinion. The banks take advantage of people who are short of money to levy unfair charges. Have we forgotten, we are all short of money. How will Britain want to be treated by China when China is fixing the terms on which we pay back our national debt? Will Lord Phillips want China to take a decision like the High Court and Court of Appeal which was a way forward for fairer charging, or will he want China to take a decision that enables China to keep on getting richer at Britain's expense with a hint that if Britain pays even more money to China that might make things fairer?0 -
Comment posted on NOTW! I read a few of your previous NOWT articles, very helpful. I also clicked through on a few links and noticed Lolagrove.com loading cookies onto my computer. Typing it into Google it comes up as lead generation. That looks bad.0
