Borders Gift Card - Advice Needed

Borders Preston at Deepdale were accepting the full value of gift cards with no restrictions. When I phoned the shop before I went, the girl said that they had been on the 50% restriction but no longer and she suggested that I should get there within the next few days.0

rather than waste my £20 Borders gift voucher or add money to it to buy something overpriced that I didn't want , I stood near the checkout and waited for someone buying a large amount and sold it to them for £10 (well £10 is better than £0)0

Hi,
don't know if this is any help but was the voucher bought on a credit card? I had one for christmas from my mum ( retail angel of death) to buy e-books and will have to apply via the credit card insurance scheme0 -

GIFT CARDS
Please be advised that it is likely many, if not all stores, will be closed by 22 December 2009. Therefore, it is highly recommended that gift cards are redeemed before this date for those customers wanting to use them. Customers not wishing to redeem their gift cards should complete a proof of debt form and submit their claim which will then rank as an unsecured claim against the Company.
A copy of the proof of debt form can be downloaded from the MCR website at www.mcr.uk.com or by clicking this link.
I’ve downloaded the proof of debt form. But I’m not sure how to fill it out0
