Has anyone got or held one previously ?
Just waiting for mine to be delivered and wondered if anyone else had any experiences with them ?
Do the points you earn actually equate to much in reality ?
Thanks all.:)

No it's Halifax. A search didn't reveal any previous threads/posts on the card so i am not holding out much hope !0 -
I got one back in 2008, basically to get the bonus 10,000 Marriott Rewards Points as a boost to my account, as I use their hotels from time to time. I closed the account earlier this year as I tend to use other hotel groups more and will therefore use a different card to maximise the benefits (eg. Hilton HHonors Visa through Barclaycard).
For the 10,000 points you can get a night in a category 2 hotel, or exchange for air miles with several airlines (eg. 2,000 BA miles).
If you use Marriott hotels a lot, you also get the Silver status by having the card, which gives a 20% bonus on hotel stay base points. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0 -

Much as myself. The reason i chose it was because i have the virgin black card and the flying club are partners with Marriott. That and a few stays this year and also the need for a Visa card.
Hopefully by tying the two reward cards together i will earn something worth having ! :T0
