Child Tax Credits/Benefits

Hi I'm looking into child tax benefits. Does anyone know if you are entitled to any other child benefits if you're on Disability Living Allowance?
http://www.entitledto.co.uk/under60.asp This site asks "Do you, your partner or your children have a disability?"
Do you have to be registered disabled to claim along this line or do they see you as having a disability if you're on DLA?

no you don't have to be registered disabled.
you get extra child tax credit if your child has a dissabillity.
if you or your partner have a dissabillity then the one who has the dissability must be working at least 16hrs to claim the disabled worker premium0 -
If you (or a child) gets DLA (at any rate) then they are counted as disabled (or you have to have been claiming incapcity benefit for over 6 months)
If they get high (or middle I think) rate care then you get extra again0 -

Ok me having been on long term Incapacity Benifit for over a year and DLA Middle rate - I am entitled?0 -
you will only be entitled to dissabled worker premium if you are working at least 16 hours a week, unfortunatly you will not get anything extra added on tax credits if you are not.
i have been on incapacity benifit for 10 years and get low dla but get nothing extra in tax credits.
also make sure you declare your incapacity benifit on your claim for tax credits as it is a taxable income.0 -
