any companies takign in user cars not within scrappage allowance?

i was browsing the net

and although officially
Mitsubishi, Nissan and Citroen offer scheme that are outside the givernment allowance

are there anymore??

i have found

    Indeed, I agree, it sounds just like part exchange to me as well.

    Remember that some dealers will offer you silly money for a beat up old banger, but they will have included the allowance in their inflated screen price.

    There really are no " free meals " in the car trade.

    Whats the relevance of £2K for your car? :confused:

    Not much point getting a £2K headline figure for your car if the one you're buying is £2K more expensive in the first place?

    You need to look at the cost to change.

    agreed but at situation where i dont knwo what to do with my car...
    but not goign to a place which has inflated costs by 2k

    So how can anyone know any other company that will give you £2000 for it?

    I tell you what, I have a car for sale for £1000, but I will give you £5000 for your old car as PX, but I have put the price of my car up to £6000.:rotfl:

    This is what some of these manufacturers have done under the "scrappage" scheme and yet the UK public are lapping it up! :rotfl:
