Tried a no. in Dover (on the letter) -engaged

    This should be dealt with by your local Job Centre Plus centre, can't find any telephone number/s but you can email them, which is free;

    Contact-Us@jobcentreplus.gsi.gov.uk

    Don't forget to give them your claim number!

    Not every job centre processes these days, they have centralised the work across jobcentre regions.

    I know from when I used to work for them that the pension service intranet has a list of which office does what processing and I believe that it was accessed via the Jobcentreplus intranet site , so any jobcente/pension service office should have access to the software to be able to tell you.

    Its unusual to see a reduction in payments unless its something like one of your children has reached the age where they no longer qualify for the premium.

    How much has it gone down by ?

    I was under the impression thet if you had qualifying children and received the Child benenfit, the premiums where added.

    I never calculated WPA as such but I worked on a lot of the cases from the State Pension Point of view,and everyone of those with children got the premiums

    I would check out why your not getting the premiums as WPA is only payable if you have children.

    (click on section 10 on the top, and then select bereavement benefits from the drop down box it has all the rules in the pdf that opens)
