Have you had a look at the big rental companies? What prices are they quoting?

They usually offer a range of hire cars from Vauxhalls to Mercs. Surely you can find something to please?

I have got an old '95 corsa that i use for work you can borrow i will even WASH it for you.;0)

When you hire a car beware of the mileage charge you will easly clock up 500 miles plus fuel and drive time.
How about the plane or train?

I hired a Jaguar XF from www.avisprestige.co.uk last month to have a birthday weekend in.

They have a depot in Manchester (Near Bolton) and one in London.

The price wasn't too bad as they have 40% off some rates at the moment.

The car was nice, had a few scratches on it but they did say it was a bit more battered than the normal ones as the others were out or getting repaired!

The excess on the insurance was £1500, but I got some excess cover that reduced it to nothing for £11 off the net.

PM me if you'd like anymore details.

    Cheers
