Pushy RAC woman!
Came out of supermarket this morning. Saw RAC woman. Decided to get a quote as older car not currently covered. She told me a lot of stuff I didn't need to know which was a pain but we got the quote in the end.
It came out as £145 which hse offered without any prompting to drop to £114 ish.
I mentioned the internet. She offered to price match the web price. This was £105 or thereabouts. She was really pushy and kept asking me questions.
I said I wanted to go home and check online - as I was sure I'd seen it for less - and asked if she'd be there later if I went back. No she claimed to be going home straight away as she was cold! Yeah right on a Saturday morning after only a couple of hours!
Anyway. Cut to the chase. Same cover WITH ONLINE DISCOUNT £80!!!
Result!
If she hadn't been quite so pushy I might've gone for it at £105! But she irritated me with her constant questions which didn't give me time to think in between!

Yeah I know but autoaid is a somewhat different service from stuff I've read on here. I've had RAC before and AA and have been very happy with RAC. Nice chaps and great service. I haven't actually bought the cover yet but I most likely will after Christmas.0

Don't forget Quidco Discount on RAC as well.;)0 -
Takoda, don't forget you can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers at 3 or 4 times there face value against various levels of RAC cover. I used £51.00 of Clubcard vouchers to get one years membership for: Rescue, Recovery, At Home & Onward Travel.0

No, but even Honda's can get flat batteries on the rare occasion.;)
I somehow think that Green Flag will be the winners on the deal.:D0
