Replacing bath for shower with fully tiled walls

We're wondering about replacing our bath with a shower cubicle in a bathroom which is fully tiled (but not behind the bath down to the floor). The tiles are 30 years old, in excellent condition but now obsolete so we can't replace missing tiles on the lower part of the wall once the bath is removed and a shower has been installed. We don't want the hassle of stripping off all the tiles in the room and replacing them and wonder how you resolve the problem of a partially bare plastered wall once a bath has been removed and a shower cubicle fitted.

you can fit aquapanels in the shower area and just tile the panels.
    (or the complete wall).
either use similar tiles or maybe better use a contrasting color.
    Get some gorm.
