Hi me and husband have @£60,000 joint debt on cards. Enough is enough and were going to (hopefully) get a IVA. I have a few questions for anyone who can answer them......
1) Any one who has had a IVA how did you choose who to go with?
2) I pay my mum £30(cash in hand) to pick up our daughter on the days i work, how do i work that into my finances.....
3) I'm bothered about people finding out........can anyone!!!!!
I know these may seem "trivial" questions to some, but these are what are keeping me awake and worrying me........my mum will know about the iVA once we apply, and probally wil not want us to pay her....but pride makes me want to still give her something!!!
Our monthly joint wage is about £1900, i'm also wondering how much we'll be left with....obviously have the usual,mortgage/loan(secured)£800,gas,electric,water,council tax @£400.....plus usual food,clothes....knowing we can totally knuckle down on food and clothes is fine.......suppose i just needed off load this to someone who doesn't know me....sorry for rambling!!!!!
Right i've took a big breath....been reading few a few posts......is payplan a good idea....or can someone recommend a IP in the Cleveland area....thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am in an IVA and have been for about 5 months. I owe approx £18k.
I am with Debt Free Direct. I have found them very helpful so far. I found them just by searching on the net.
In order to work the £30 into your finances, just add £30 to your actual car petrol/diesel bill.
I am not sure about people finding out. I know that IVAs are NOT published in local papers though.0
