I have posted 3 times now I am now begging

I recently purchased 2 pairs of Uggs online without realising they were fakes they were 'on offer' reduced from $120 to about $70 a pair.

They sent me one pair in the wrong colour and they dont fit my partner.

I have emailed the company to say I want a refund and he wants me to forward them on to someone else, I have refused to do this.

It now looks as if the website has closed down as when I used my saved link it is blank and I cannot get access to my Emails as they were through something called billing support

I used my tesco credit card so i should be covered to get my money back however they seem to not want to help in the slightest and i do not know what to do next

any help is greatly appreciated as my partner still has no birthday Uggs

I need help as I don't know what to do next

Sorry - your Tesco credit card won't help as the purchase price was less than £100 (assuming you meant 140 dollars as the price). In which case I fear you are out of pocket

If it was £140 go back to Tesco and quote section 75.
  • thanks for your response the total for the boots was £110 but they dont seem to be helping in the disputes team and dont really know much about this section 75 ive heard about it but thats all

  • "Uggs" is a copyrighted brandname so they didn't need to say they were genuine as long as it said "Uggs"
  • marksoton I bought online without realising about the generic term uggs and it was my first main purchase so was going in blind so to speak

  • Google Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act and that will give you the information you need to know to give Tesco a call and ask them to do a charge back.

If each pair was less than £100 then I don't think Tesco need to refund you - try the main site pages under credit cards for Martin's articles on section 75 to confirm.
