Laminate & Underfloor Heating - which underlay

All,

Going to fit quick-step laminate flooring and am contemplating putting in electric underfloor heating. Which underlay would you recommend to go with this?

Struggling to get a definitive answer on this. Want a good thickness to the underlay to cut down on the sound too.

Should mention that the sub-floor is think wooden floorboards.

Hi there,

We have Quickstep and underfloor heating all through our bungalow and used Varme carbon film underfloor heating which comes complete with 6mm Depron insulation board [also available in 2mm and 3mm.] Hope this helps.

Hi,

We have electric underfloor heating under a wood floor and we also used 6mm depron sheet underay. Really easy to lay and seems to keep the noise down quite well!
