Help I've forgotten my SIM lock!!
Bear with me please as I'm a complete novice with mobile phones....I was given a samsung SGH F480V off a friend and I reset the phone lock and sim lock on it...it ran out of battery and switched off ..when I switched it back on the phone lock code worked but the sim lock code didnt..I thought I'd set them both the same but obviously not 
Is there any way to unlock this please...I have taken the sim out and put it back in my old phone and it works fine so the sim isnt blocked....hope this makes sense

on your old phone, turn the sim lock off...
put the sim back in the new phone, and try ONLY ONCE, for the phone lock, and it should work.. you don't need 2 locks, seriously, that is overkill.
me... i have no locks, never have done, never needed..

both can be overcome
