any ideas where to get cheap hols?
flying from teeside or newcastle

Have you been to Valencia? There are cheap flights from several airports. It is a lovely city and you have beaches too.

I recently went to Benidorm for weekend, flying out of Newcastle. If you have a look on Easyjets website you'll find where they fly to, also look at Ryaqnair, and for lil Teeside or Durham Tees Valley as its now known you have BMI baby. If you're planning on going in August i'd try and get booked up a.s.a.p- prices tend to go up. I paid nearly £140 for my fri aft/sun aft return flights to Benidorm. Quite frankly, Benidorm was appaling, so wouldnt reccommend it, unless you enjoy wall to wall british boozers and streets that stink of cheap booze!!

Not sure how cheap a flight you will get for August but I often fly into Malaga Airport, Malaga itself is nice for a city break but 20 minutes drive you have Torremolinos, Benelmedena and Feungarola (all misspelt) drive further down the coast and you have Puerto Banus and Marbella. Try skyscanner.com for flights, put in your dates, departure aiport and any airport in Spain and it will tell you the cheapest flights then I use alpharooms.com for accommodation.
