The scary thing is I needed to have dogging explained to me by my pensioner mother. I blame daytime TV myself, she would never have known what it was otherwise. Now she gets very worried about going out in the car with the dogs to take them for a country walk when dad gets in when the nights are long, in case she sees something she really would rather not.

IIRC pawpurrs was asked to start a new thread for 'To those selling in these difficult times' over on the other channel. However that is now at Page 109 with my page view of 20 posts per page (default I think.)

I'm sure it didn't reach 1000 posts in its original form.

I wonder if MSE distinguishes between a help thread (kept shorter for relevance) and a general letting of steam kind of thread like this one and the long'uns in the Arms? That may explain why some are longer than others - to keep the most important info easy to find, which possibly matters less on one like this. However this is all supposition and made up by me, and at the end of the day, what do I know?
