Contacting a member?

I received a message from an ebay member who is having problems with a seller that I also had problems with and wanted my advice.

When trying to reply to the message (via My Messages) I keep getting a notification saying that the message cannot be sent because I am not involved in a sale with this person.

Is there a way of getting their email address so that I can reply to their query?

If you go to advanced search in the top right hand corner, then click on find a member, search for them and then click on contact member.

I think you're only able to use this methods a couple of times a day though.

It looks like you can only contact people who you are involved in a sale with.

No, I have contacted members loads of times using Milliejon's method. You can contact any member from their feedback page too, by clicking on contact member (top right, from memory).
