Has anyone done this? i read something in a mag the other day and sounded quite easy but wondered how you go about doing it?
I read one that was really funny and had got loads of hits..how do you know people will read it? and can you do about one thing or your life or more than one topic etc?
Thanks

I know a few people/organisations who use this tool to blog https://www.blogger.com/start
My sister's friend has one and she muses on all sorts (currently her quest to find a job mainly) You seem to be able to write about anything and everything! Then tell your friends about your blog and they will read it and let others know about it if they enjoy it.0 -
I do one and its got loads of followers! Its partly about my art classes, my art work and also my daily life! Its an easy one to do-have a look at mine https://www.paintingmyway.blogspot.com
take a look at blogspot if you want to try one your self.I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0 -
Hi thanks guys..will check them out later. Is blogspot pretty much self explanatory to start up? i find my self clicking from one thing to another to another no knowing what im reading!..thanks0

Its very easy to set up and run--if I can do it anyone can!I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

Both blogspot and https://www.wordpress.com give you free blogs and are extremely easy to use. You never know how many people will read it until you try, but if you enjoy writing, go for it! You can write whatever you like - some blogs stick to a single topic, but lots don't.0

if you link your blog up to stat counter you will be able to see who is looking at it and when--it makes very interesting reading sometimes1I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0

Blogger is a pretty straightforward and self-explanatory one yes, Wordpress is also good but abit more advanced.
It depends what you want to do the blog for, but there are so so many around and most will barely ever get read unless you really know what you are doing with them, but if it is more one for friends/family to keep up to date with you and your thoughts then no probs!
An alternative would be to look for an already populated blog on a subject matter that interests you and enquire as to whether you can become a contributing writer0 -

I use Blogger for mine and I am probably the least technical person I know. I know we can't posy links to our own site but if you click on my profile the address is there if you want to have a look at what you can do on Blogger.
I have Google Adsense but probably only make about £2 a week even though I have quite a high number of hits on my blog so if you are looking at it as a moneymaking thing then I would say its probably not worth the effort but if you are doing it for yourself then definately go for it.
Mine is all about my family and the things we do together. I enjoy writing it and its good to look back over it - good memories:beer:0 -
I love reading other peoples blogs--its like being a fly on the wall sometimes!
Mine works well for me--Ive had people buy paintings and join classes after finding my blog, so its helpful to me, and I love writing it too!I might be crazy but I'm not stupid....0
