Caught speeding question

A friend has been caught speeding (37 in a 30 zone) I know she shouldn't of done it but we have noticed that the date on the letter is 4 weeks after the incident. Can she contest it?

You will get more specialist help (and less moral sermon preaching!) if you post this question (with all details of the NIP) at the pepipoo forum.
  • Does your friend own the car in question?
Is her name and address on the log book?
    If so are they correct?

What colour paper is the letter printed on?

Failure to respond may see your friend with 6 points and a fine of about £500 so do something positive.
