For me it's not the case of having an overdraft. This is the bank that has told me I can't pay a flexible loan from my Lloyds account, and then charge me up to £75 a time because I go over my overdraft limit as my wages are no longer paid into the HSBC account! How on earth can any bank justify TELLING customers which account they can pay a loan from

As far as I know all the big banks have this sort of rule - that loan payments must come out of 'their' current account - if you are encountering charges then you either need to move the payment date or that Lloyds fix their FPS implementation.

They can't advertise a interest free overdraft, take it away without 1 day notice, and slap charges.

Not in Natwest TandC anyhow. That would be an extreme case of unfairness.

Charges? The OP hasn't mentioned any charges.

As for the advertise a free overdraft and take it away with 1 day notice, yes they can. I recommend you maybe read the T&C on HSBC website if you're interested.

Not needed. I only need to concern myself with natwest graduate account.

I've never known a bank not to give at least 24 hours notice or more regarding withdrawing an interest free overdraft, then slapping charges.

False advertising otherwise if they can slap charges at anytime.
