Just accepted delivery of my new 1St mainstream card after being sub prime. Its JJB and in current climates the Apr for purchases is 24.9% which I think isn't too bad considering how some mainstream cards are 30%+.
From Online application to receiving the card was 8 days.

The better cards charge around 13 - 18% so it is still expensive if you carry a balance on it for a number of months.0 -
