Help treat for girlfriend

I want to get or do something for my fianc! just to show her how much I love her and appreciate her, the problem is money my signature says it all!!

She's not materialistic and would rather something made with thought than bought. I was thinking of making a nice meal when mil/fil next go out for evening.

Any ideas don't mind if it includes the children.

Thanks

what a lovely post. home cooked meal is always a good one, a candle or two and it will be lovely. I would suggest a picnic but the weather's not exactly right for that!

back, neck, foot massage always welcome and costs nowt.

or how about just doing some of the chores that she usually does... not glamorous but will be v much appreciated!

Where does the time go?
  • you could have the bath ready for her when she comes home from work, candles, soft music, bubbles ect and have a picnic on the floor downstairs ready for when she has had her bath, you could put a rug down, with cushions to sit on, finger food, soft lights and music and tell her how much you appreciate her and love her!

It doesn't have to be expensive just letting her know you have put thought into it is enough. We had a carpet picnic and it was fantastic as it was casual and simple yet romantic.

Aww how lovely, what about making a little scrap book of pictures from when you met, the kids, holidays etc and leave a page or two at the end for the wedding pics, you could do it with the kids if they are old enough, put their hand prints in it, press her favourite flower? I'm getting carried away now lol!
And then have a carpet picnic, what a great idea glitterycloud, I want one!

You are wonderful to think of this! I would love something like that :j I LOVE it when hubby runs a warm bath with candles etc so I would suggest that and the scrap idea is fab! Also picnic in the front room is very romantic too especially if you have an open fire. We enjoy having dinner on the carpet infront of the fire.

I am sure your fiance will love whatever you surprise her with as you have gone to the trouble and effort to make something nice and special :A

    Good Luck

The picnic sounds good I could make some truffles to put in and some nice candles and find a nice film on iplayer. You've got me thinking now!

    Aren't you lovely!

Do you have a computer? If so maybe you could make a compilation CD of lots of her favourite songs, or songs that mean something to you both.
