Dying to hear the story of the £27 undies!!

My friend just called, thank goodness, she is having a great time the lucky thing!! I'm off to bed to dream up some new words for female undercrackers. :rotfl: Night all.

  • Have to also agree on La Senza, I find their stuff tacky too. I found their range of small bands but large cups, exactly what I need, unsuitable.

I spend good money in John Lewis, Debenhams and Bravissimo, making sure I see a fitter each time as my size differs slightly from brand to brand. This helps me save time and money as I might otherwise pick the wrong size (which I have done once and was an expensive lesson). The fittings are free after all.

I do hand wash when I can, otherwise a delicate cycle in the washing machine with minimal spin. My current selection, including Fantastie and Freya bras, is about 2 years old and looks fine.

Knickers are multipacks for day to day with the odd matching-to-bra one for special ocassions.

I usually spend £30-£40 (sometimes more) on bras and my last multipack worked out at £2 per pair (JL £10 for 5 pairs). I definitely wouldn't go any cheaper as there is nothing worse than uncomfortable clothing and I don't have the time to be contantly shopping.

Conclusion: Expensive bras are worth it imo.

Just been to JL and was fitted into a different size to what I was wearing. I brought two Chantelle bras - more money than I'd usually pay even with the 20% off today but they do fit well and I've been trying for a couple of months to find ones that fit - now I know why!

I think good bras are essential especially of you have big boobs.

I hate knickers that are sold in packs, they always seem poor quality even M&S ones.

    I like the m&S £4 ones & every now & then they do 3 for £10:money:

TK Maxx is great for quality underwear at lower prices. I've got a few Mimi Holiday sets from there for less than £20 (bra and pants) and they often have Elle Macpherson stuff in too. If you can find your size, that is!

For everyday I just wear Primark t-shirt bras, I find them great quality if you pick carefully. I haven't bought from La Senza for years, also agree it looks tacky. And I hate those little balls they put in the bags - they go everywhere!!

Personally I ALWAYS wear matching bra and undies and if they not a set match then I damn well make sure the colour matches. Wearing nice underwear gives me a little bounce in the morning and it not something my fella ever complained about and he loves the fact I always wearing matching.

La Senza is hit and miss for me but one of my favour bras from there currently is a soft to touch black bra with white lace on top. It's beautful and makes the most of my 32c babes lol

Otherwise it's M&S and Adore Moi brand bras. I will make a confession - Every Jan (since I was about 23 I've saved up 75£ per year and in the Jan sales got some new undies set for the year and thrown out most old set that are 2 years +

Currently have my eye on this little set

Thank goodness - I was beginning to think I was the only one! I hate being "mismatched".

What about if you wear black trousers & a white top, you have to wear odd underwear.
