A few years ago when I went to my hubby's aunties for xmas dinner she had bought everyone a little present and put it on their chair around the table.

So this year im preparing xmas dinner (lucky me!) and I was wanting to do the same.

I need ideas for what I can buy people

Theres my hubby (age 20's) My sister & bro in law (40's) My mam & dad, also 3 kiddies, im looking for something not too expensive, just a little gimmick or something.

Thanks

There's a good choice of 'Christmas socks' for all ages in Primark. I've bought some as teachers' presents and I'm going to fill them like little Christmas stockings eg bath bomb in toe (6 for £2 in Primark), little hot choc sachet, chocolate lolly, the other sock :-) etc
  • My mum does this every year she usually gets something funny or like little puzzles (u know the metal or wooden ones) just things like that. In hawkins bazaar they have some good stuff if you have a look on their website its in priced sections

hi poundstretcher are selling hand high xmas trees made out of curled rock decorated with a mini gingerbread man and holly and baubles (all in rock) for 99p! They would look fab next to each place setting! They seemed to have 3 different "colours" - green, red or mixed green and red. I've bought a few as I think they look lovely

Another vote for Hawkins Bazaar - it must be where Santa shops cos I seem to remember lots of their stuff in my xmas stockings when I was growing up;)
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • You could do a christmas scratchcard - someone might get lucky!

Not very MSE I know - but how good would it be to go home with £100 in your back pocket!

Firebox.com and iwantoneofthose.com do lots of little stocking fillers, it's all groovy gadgets and silly games like Hawkin's Bazaar.
