Manbearpig what do you think of the Sandringham suite as I am interested in that one.
I liked the shower screen too,how effective are the new shower screens at keeping water inside bath?

It,s great to see all the photos as it brings home what a difference a nice bathroom can make.

When you say ebay,do you mean the ebay shops or you actually have bid for the items, thank you.

The suite seems pretty good for the price, also look at Twyford's refresh as its around the same price range (£300 ish for whole suite). I'll be honest, the bath is not as solid as the cast iron bath it replaced, but its much better than the junk you get from b&q. I would definitely recommended it for the price.

The bath screen came from this ebay shop:
    http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/simplebathroomlimited__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Its 1m wide, so keeps in all the shower splash, but most of them are tiny, and probably won't keep much water out.

It was the cheapest for the size at the time, and turned out to be a good buy. Same stuff in retail chains like bathstore cost hundreds!

Hello, well I have decided to go for attempting to DIY my bathroom.
Can anyone help me with a shower question please.I will need all the wiring put in for an electric shower from scratch which for a rough quote has been 300 to 400 hundred pounds part p tested, excluding the actual shower which was a bit of a shock, really never realised it would be so expensive. It makes sense now for me to look at shower pump options as well now so I can compare.
I have a cold water tank in attic with a hot water tank in airing cupboard in bedroom, have an open vented boiler. What sort of pumps would be ok for 1 shower in house, what sort of bar do you look for?I have looked at some on screwfix but get confused on some of the terminology, can anyone help please?
Is a pumped aqualisa any good? They are expensive but the electric option is expensive so trying to think of cheapest way of getting a good, powerful shower with as much as I can do myself legally.
