can I still claim back the incorrectly sold PPI?
Also - I have had some phone calls from a company saying that loans I have taken our previously are unlawful and that I can have the debt written off. I must admit I am very confused about it all.Is this the case?
I also have a car on finance and the PPI is extortionate but the cancellation policy was only in the first 30 days. I am not sure what to do about this either?
Can someone help me?

Hello and welcome.;)
You can reclaim your mis sold PPI anytime, and it makes no difference if the account is settled or still active and so on.
Or it does not matter if your on a debt management programme.
I would be wary of these companies that cold call, they do tend to charge, where this can be done all free of charge with just a cost of a few stamps.
And this way you get to keep all your money, its very easy and nothing really to it, and could be worth your while.
For more on reclaiming with letter templates, a checklist of reasons for being mis sold and so on here:

You write to the ones who sold you the finance, so if there was a broker involved its them you write to.
Check the above link and post your letters by recorded delivery, this is your proof of posting, and please ask for help anytime, good luck and please keep us posted.;)

Thanks Di,
I have had loans from my bank that have been refinanced over and over and over and am now on a managed loan. Should I just write to my bank and ask for copies of everything going back as far as I can? I dont have any of the account numbers etc?
Am also looking into the unenforceability stuff thats been happening too but am really really confused with it all.
Dont suppose there is a person who fancies being my "debt free" sponsor. I would find it easier if I just had one person who I could go to for advice?
Have told the companies who have rang that I am not prepared to pay their fees first.
I did manage to claim back some bank charges about 18 months ago. But am nervous of everything else as I need my car for work.
Thanks0
