Scottish power cancellation fee

Have others been caught out by Scottishpower, I recently decided to switch after being with Npower for a few years, Npower talked me into going back with them on a better tariff, now scottishpower have charged me £20 cancellation for the gas and £30 cancellation for the electric. I have ended up with the most expensive energy bills pro rota that I have ever had.Did I miss this in there terms and conditions?

Yes? (Just a guess, but that would appear to be the case. At least it isn't £70 for gas and £30 for electricity as some suppliers were charging a while ago!)
