i really dont know what the problem ishere, maybe som1 can assist.
I have got a few avi divx files on my pc. I have burned them to disk. Now, when i play them on my PC, they play perfect and the sound is inline with the show but when i put the dvd in my dvd player, the sound is about 2 seconds behind the picture. Dont understand this myself - anybody have any advice on how to sort this? thanks

QPEL if you google it, you will find lots of people have problems with it. In short you need MPEG Modifier: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=MPEG4_Modifier
Simple instructions, open the files with this program, look in the User Data area, remove the "p" and save the file again. Burn to disk and you should have some usable and sync'ed avi files.
The other solution is to buy some of the later generation dvix players, these tend to support qpel so it isn't a problem anymore. Unfortunately, most of these new players come at a price premium. You will need to visit https://www.divx.com to find out which particular players support qpel playback.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

As said mpeg4 modifier should cure the problem just tick the box and save the file as a new file.0
