hi all

anyone know how to get cheap tickets to the NEC bike show this year?

does the NEC hammer you for parking like most exhibitions?

    Hello ericthekidstoner

I'll move your thread to the 'Theatre, Concert & Events Tickets' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

    Regards

When approaching the NEC site follow the signs to the railway station and park in the station car parks (a new multi storey just opened)

You can walk through to the NEC halls and pay for parking at pay meter in station concourse - usually a little cheaper than NEC car parks - I think I paid £5 all day when I went to the Grand Designs exhibition earlier this year.

Hampton-in-Arden railway station is one stop away, costs about £1 each way, and has free parking, so not a bad option if you are travelling alone and don't mind the diversion.

Avoids the awful traffic around the NEC too, depending where you are coming from.

Also rather useful for flying from Birmingham Airport - we used it many many times.
